Award Notices

A number of the CREATE projects are railroad improvements.   This work will be managed by the CREATE partner railroads.   While the railroads will do much of this work with their own union forces, they will procure some of the work.  Click here to see a list of the types of work that the railroads expect to contract for CREATE.

For CREATE Phase I and II consultants, participating agencies/companies and other interested parties:

The CREATE Phase I manual for railroad projects is now available for use.  It contains the procedures for Phase I work including environmental and preliminary(nominal 30%) design.  It may be viewed or downloaded at the link below:

The CREATE Phase II manual for railroad projects is now available in DRAFT form.  It contains procedures for Phase II work, encompassing preparation of Phase II reports and contracting procedures for Phase II and III professional services, Right of Way services, and Phase III Contractors.  It may be viewed or downloaded at the link below:
