CSX Transportation (CSX) is issuing an invitation to bid on the CREATE Project GS19 – B&OCT/CSXT 71st St. Grade Separation – Street level Improvements and Street Level Improvements at Viaducts – Western Avenue, 69th Street, 68th Street and 65th Street project in Chicago, IL (GS19-BOCT-XXX-005-Z-BD). The project consists of earth excavation, pavement removal, pavement reconstruction, combination curb and gutter, pavement patching, sidewalk reconstruction, drainage, street lighting, erosion control, landscaping, and traffic control and protection.
A mandatory in-person prebid meeting is required for Primes and was held on January 28, 2026 at 9:00am (CST) at the following location (with a site inspection to follow): B&OCT/CSXT Forest Hill Terminal, 2252 W 79th Street, Chicago, IL 60620. The pre-bid meeting sign in sheet is available here.
