Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) is issuing an invitation to bid on the CREATE WA1 – Ogden Junction Project in Chicago, IL. (UPRR Rockwell Subdivision Mile Post 0.18 to Mile Post 2.68). A mandatory pre-bid meeting, site inspection, and networking event is required for primes.

All interested bidders attending the pre-bid meeting must provide and wear railroad-approved PPE equipment including but not limited to eye protection, hard hats, high visibility vests, hearing protection, and lace up work boots with defined heel and steel toe protection. The mandatory pre-bid is for primes only is scheduled for 08:00 am (CST) on the 13th, August, 2025 at the following location:

Mandatory site inspection attendance is limited to two attendees per prime and immediately follows the pre-bid meeting.
A mandatory networking event for primes with the purpose of networking with subcontractors/DBE firms interested in the project is scheduled for 10:00am to 11:30 (CST) the 13th, August, 2025 at the following location:

Primes must provide at least 1 attendee for the networking event.

Bids are due 2:00PM CST October 30, 2025, via UPRR Keelvar. Questions are due via UPRR Keelvar by 2:00 pm CST on September 19, 2025. Contractor selection is anticipated to be finalized in 4rd Quarter 2025.
