Today, Governor Pritzker and other CREATE Program partners celebrate the groundbreaking for the Forest Hill Flyover (P3) and 71st Street Grade Separation (GS19) Projects. These projects are the first half of the 75th Street Corridor Improvement Project (CIP) which will help eliminate the most congested rail chokepoint in the Chicago area. October 5th, 2022 – We are excited to announce Norfolk Southern has selected Benesch to provide final track design services for the CREATE Project EW3-Segment B. As a part of the CREATE public-private partnership, the project will improve infrastructure located near the intersection of South Stony Island Avenue and East 95th Street in Chicago. CREATE Program Partners Continue Education Commitment in Conjunction with Chicago Elementary and High Schools, Museum of Science and Industry and Chicago Public Library Foundation to Promote STEM Learning
May 13, 2022 – The Chicago Region Environmental and Transportation Efficiency (CREATE) Program partners have continued their commitment as part of the 75th Street Corridor Improvement Project (75th St. CIP), to bolstering STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education within Chicago Public Schools, Leo High School, the Museum of Science and Industry and Chicago Public Library through the Library Foundation. For the 2021-2022 school year, the Program partners donated $25,000 across eight recipients, totaling $200,000.
